Trip to see RAF Cosford Museum 24th May

Thirteen cars from the Blackpool and Lanc’s regions enjoyed a run out to Cosford. The weather could have been better as we had a lot of fine rain on the run down. However the Museum is well worth seeing and brought back many memories to those of us who had worked in the Aerospace industry. The layout within the halls is incredible with aircraft packed in and literally hanging from the rafters in “In flight” positions.

Many thanks to Jim Edwards who organised and lead the run out, Jim even managed to get our TVR’s photographed in front of a Hercules transport aircraft that was on static display. To see all the displays and aircraft properly would take more than a day so we may go back in the future to see more.S1800016
