Can anyone help Andy & Shirley Lynch?

Andy and Shirley’s youngest daughter Amy and six of her friends had arranged a limo to take them to their school prom but this has fallen through and they are struggling to find anything else available. Andy and Shirley are now taking Amy & her closest friend in their two TVRs. Any’s friend has also offered to take another girl in his T350. Heath and Dave Welton have also offered to take two more of Amy’s friends. That leaves us with two more seats to find and I wondered if two more of our members could help out. The prom run would be from Edenfield to the Dunkenhalgh Hotel in Clayton-le-moors (Jct 7 M65). The date is 2nd July (Thursday) and we’re looking at picking them up around 6pm, maybe have a stop somewhere to line the cars up for a photo call and then arrive at the Dunkenhalgh for 7pm. Andy has offered to cover petrol costs. If you can help please contact me and I will inform Andy and Shirley Thanks Dave Welton

Thanks for the kind offers. It is looking like a couple of the kids would prefer to go in one of their relatives Merc, can’t understand it, but never mind. So not sure at the moment exactly how many seats we need. I will post again nearer the time when I get firm numbers. But if anyone fancies the run over just for the run the more the merrier.

Thanks Keith & Bill for your kind offers. The numbers have finally settled and it turns out we will be all sorted with Dave & Heath’s TVRs joining ours for the prom run. If anyone would still like to come along just for a run out you are more than welcome to join the convoy. We could look at going on somewhere for a drink & a bite to eat after we have finished the chauffeuring duties.
