Last year Warings Buildings of Wrea Green organised a car show on the Village Green, they are holding a similar event again on Sunday the 1st June from 1 to 3 pm. They are asking again for a £10 donation per entry which will go to Trinity Hospice.
In addition they are having a raffle costing £5 per ticket for a superb prize as follows.
The winner will have the oppertunity to attend the Goodwood Revival held on the 12th/14th Sept on the day of your choice.
You will be a member of the team running the iconic BRM/261, formally driven by the late Graham Hill and Jackie Stewart, in the Glover Trophy race for Formula one cars from 1961 to 1965.
Included will be lunch and afternoon tea with the team in the Drivers enclosure mingling with your motorsport heroes from the past.
Whilst these tickets may be sold at the car show on the day, to avoid disapointment as the tickets will be limited,you may purchase them in advance.
Cheques can be returned along with your entry forms and you will then be forwarded your “lucky tickets”. Please make the cheques payable to Trinity Hospice.
The draw will take place at the show and will be made by a civic dignitary.
