Some photos from the run out. I had never been to Lakeside before which is where the last 3 photo’s were taken. It has a cafe and aquarium as well as a hotel. It is also the terminus for the Haverthwaite railway. This gave us an idea for a trip out this summer.

Visit the railway and or car musem followed by a train trip up to lakeside, followed by a cruise round the lake on one of the stamers that depart from there. Finally a meal or drinks in the Lakeside hotel. I must not forget also the “diving ducks in the Aquarium. We could even try and make it an evening cruise on the Lake
