stuntman, are importing some new products to the UK.
Specifically car covers/ 4×4 covers, boat covers, car inflatable covers (
car bubbles) and a fantastic top of the range free standing car tent.
The car covers are 170T taffeta /nylon covers, which come in three sizes,
small (up to 13ft M up to 16 ft and large, up to 18ft). They feature an
elasticated reinforced hem, and a strong nylon strap to afix to the
underside on the car.
The 4 x 4 covers are all black, and are made from 150D nylon material. They
are for L 170″x73 x 55″ (Mitsubushi/Jeep size) or XL 180 x 73 x55″ Range
Rover size.
We have car inflatable car covers in M 5.49 x 1.93 x 2.05M and L size 6.1 x
1.93 x 2.05M
We have motorcycle inflatable car covers in 3 x 1.5 x 1.8M size.
The above two items are great for storing cars against the dust/damp as the
fans they run on cost 40p per week continuous use.
They feature durable PVC (4oz approx) and an oxford cloth base.
Finally, the car tents -They are made from 300D reinforced nylon. They come
with fibreglass poles, and brass eyelets.
They can be used indoors or out, and are particularly useful if you are sick
of washing your car before putting a cover on it.
People with even the cleanest garage will find debris will fall onto the car
over a couple of days, be it animal debris, or simple dust and airbourne
grime.
The car-pod stops you having to wash the car every time you take it for a
drive, as you simply open your garage, and drive into the car-pod, then zip
it up. Its that simple. Being an all in one unit, it avoids the enthusiasts
wors nightmare of moisture from a concrete floor wicking up, and causing
untold damge to the underside of your pride and joy. We took a sharp knife
to one of these, and it took 5 minutes just to put a small cut in it!
It can be used inside or outdoors, as a portable workshop, or a storage
unit.
We have 10 which are flame retardant , (and 5 which are not flame
retardant), and so any motorsport enthusiasts going to meetings without a
garage can rest assured you wont be getting wet cold, or windswept.
You can use it to service/repair the car, and even sleep in it and observe
the meeting. The unit comes with additional nylon guy ropes and pegs to
securely fasten it down when used outdoors for inclement weather.
The looks of the competition is contentious to say the least, and I know
this is a good looking unit, that can be packed into its own carry case,(the
size of a small suitcase) and be taken with you. Its easy to erect, having a
system of nylon threaded poles, and being a one piece unit, is very simple
and quick to put up.

Outdoor units available on E bay are around the £600 – £800 mark, but
cruciallly lack the all important insulation layer of material to seperate
your car from the ground, the source of most moisture when the ambient
temperature fluctuates.

with their motorcycle covers around £200 .Their free standing car port is
around £849.
I can also offer these prices to other regions of the TVR club, but the car
covers at £9.99 are so priced, that we would need to send en mass , or as a
group order to make that economically viable. The exception would be if we
took orders from a region who wanted other products – we could then send
them with those items.
